As my Nespresso machine is on its last legs, I’ve decided to upgrade to a Sage Barista Express, which I would like in black. Availability of it black seems bad but i found a load of new ones on eBay such as this one:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sage-SES875BKS-The-Barista-Express-with-Temp-Control-Milk-Jug-Black-Sesame-/174259681806?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49292

£60 less than from Sage directly. Slightly wary of buying something like this on eBay due to it not being a known seller, such as John Lewis etc. Am I worrying too much or would you avoid?

Cheers

9000 + feedback, over 50 already sold, I’d not be concerned about buying from there.

Personally unless it's a bargain I wouldn't be going the ebay route even from a recognised seller like curry's or John Lewis etc.

Returns etc are a mare after a few months as you've no direct contact with the seller, the listing drops off and so on.

EBay is great for 2nd hand and actual bargains, it's not great for new at near rrp.

If it’s a business seller there will be a business address and you’ll get a receipt/guarantee. No different to buying at a normal online shop really.

Thanks all. There’s a 2 year guarantee described in the listing. I guess if you’re supposed to organise that as a consumer then it’s fine, but if you’re supposed to organise it via the ebay retailer then I can see problems
