I'm sure that I remember a farmhouse that was also a cafe somewhere in CyB. Possibly (probably?) on the Red Bull trail.

Am I imagining this?

There's a café on the beast that is the owners home. It's about 2/3 of the way round I think, just before the long tarmac climb.

When we were there a few years ago the couple who lived there and ran it were looking to sell.
No idea if they did our not and it's a few years since I did the beast so maybe it's not even there anymore, although find that hard to believe.

They sold it a few years ago and the last few times I have been there the new owner has been doing a lot of building work so wasn't selling any food or drink. Don't know if they plan to or not but the sign was still there but turned to Closed. Hope they do open up again as it's at just the right point round the Beast for a warm drink and a bit of cake!

Last I saw was that they'd move the cafe to a temporary barn thing across the road and were planning to build something permanent. They were commuting through the week to jobs in England.

Alas I don't know if this pre or post dates the comments above. Was the first time the wean did Dragons Back so can't have been more than 5 years ago, but certainly at least 3

There a couple of months ago and they've turned it into a very modern looking house using cladding. No evidence at all that there will be a cafe there or nearby that I saw.

We were there a couple of months back and spoke to the owner. It is still a cafe but due to Covid they are not opening again this year as he said it wasn't worth it as it cost too much to run and the season was almost over. Late August it was. Don't forget Wales ahs different, stricter Covid rules.

He said that they were planning on opening again next year but everything depends on Covid.
