As above I have a 2014 citroen relay with airbag light on (no reason just appeared) and wonder if anyone has a recommendation for a scanner (up to £150) to check the codes (although reading online it sounds like I will have to send it to crashdata for a reset). Also have an Octavia (2020) so if it compatible with that then all the better.
I used Torque Lite phone app and an "under a tenner" bluetooth thing, that plugged into the OBD2 port, off ebay.
Reset the emissions light, I actually needed more oil in the engine according to the fault code.
On another Citroen - C1
Edit: Also used the same kit on a Nissan Note to reset the DPF fault a few times
Edit 2: Same sort of thing as THIS
CheersI have them they are only really engine specific even with torque pro, it needs to do airbags.
Many cheap ones won't sort airbag lights, even Carley can't do it. Model specific ones are often better unless you go for an all singing expensive one. For my Z4 i have a C310+ which was about £50 and does the lot. There might be something similar for your car.
Air bag light very occasionally comes on in our old Golf - always seems to be a connector under one of the front seat needs a jiggle.
I think but cant be sure, the system resets once the connection is reseated, i.e. no code clearance needed (engine off/keys out).
Usually airbag faults don't reset themselves, they need to be cleared with a reader.
