I've got a half decent pair of Grenson brogues that I want tidying up. They've previously had new soles fitted by Timpsons, but to be honest, it was a pretty shoddy job. They need new soles, heels and ideally a good clean / refurb of the leather and it's pretty marked in places (mainly from where Timpsons butchered them last time!).
Grensons won't do them directly as they've been messed around with by 3rd parties - any independents out there that can be recommended? I've had a look in the local area and seems to be dominated by Timspons and no handy local independents so happy to send off in the post...

They're known for doing boots and climbing shoes but do normal stuff as well. Assuming they're as good with normal shoes as walking boots I'd recommend them.
