I am using the Firefox browser and the forum text has the top edge clipped off. It has been happening for a long time but has got worse with the latest upgrade to 91.2.0, see screenshot.

Does anyone have the same issue and any suggestions for sorting? I'm guessing this a is styling issue with Singletrack and Firefox as I don't see it in other websites or browsers.

I have nothing to add to help, however well done on getting a screen shot 👍 and I find dark mode is better on the eyes.  👀

Not sure the problem is very clear in the screenshot, probably too small.

I use Firefox, and have never had this problem. Could be an issue with one of your extensions? Try disbaling them all and add them back in one at a time?

I don't think I have any extensions installed. I don't remember ever installing any and none are listed if I check my add-ons.

Which desktop environment & distro is that, it looks a little dated? Do any other websites have the same problem?

Is your browser zoom set at anything other than 100%?

@sirromj - KDE on Opensuse 15.3 recently upgraded. Don't notice it on other websites or STW on other browsers

@bigginge - usually 90% but issue still noticeable at 100%

Some ideas that might not fix anything!
Have you or a theme over-ridden a default font perhaps?
Are Open Sans, Deja VU, Liberation, font families installed?
Font DPI set correctly?

I am not aware of having altered any default or installed/uninstalled any fonts. Just did a straight upgrade of Opensuse.

From my knowledge of CSS I would say that a margin or padding is set on a class somewhere. But trying to find where using the developer tools is impossible, there are so many class names I can't work out which one is the problem.

For info, it doesn't happen in Firefox on Windows.

I can't see how it's a CSS issue - the height of most of the boxes for text that's clipping is set by the font size - so even if you couldn't use the intended font the text shouldn't clip. And I've just set a negative margin on one of the top menu entries and they display outside the menu bar rather than clipping.

But trying to find where using the developer tools is impossible, there are so many class names I can’t work out which one is the problem.

Shouldn't be tricky. Open Dev tools. Inspector. Selector. Click on 'Shop' in the menu bar.

The mark up is pretty simply - it's only the A or the LI that could be wrong in the menu bar. The 'computed' tab shows where styles are picked up.

Still can't work this out so I've been trying alternative browser. Either Opera or Chrome with the menubar extension added look good. Don't get the same problem so I'll just change my default browser. Thanks for all help.
