Hi

Don't climb myself... Too heavy.

But father-in-law based in Cape Town looking for us to take some climbing gear over (it's hideously expensive to buy over there apparently). Anyone able to recommend an online shop (cheap & reliable)where he can get what he wants delivered to us?

Cheers

Mike

rock and run, v12 outdoor, planet fear

all used to be good a few years back - haven't done much climbing for a while though.

Needlesports. Bricks and mortar in Keswick but really good online provider with excellent customer service- any concerns ring them up, very knowledgable.

all the above are good choices, and make a great first port of call.

However, GoOutdoors will beat any price offered elsewhere by 10%.

I've spotted some cracking deals at V12/Needlesports recently, and then had GoOutdoor knock another 10% off.

I'm more cautious with what I will buy from them (i.e. I think twice about software that might have been sat in a dingy warehouse somewhere), but most other stuff shouldn't be an issue. Also, less need to worry about crap customer service since most climbing stuff can't be returned anyway 🙂
