My van is looking increasingly tatty... a few small rust patches and dull paintwork. I can't afford a new paint job, so what's the best way of making it look a little more respectable?

I've considered the coach paint and roller avenue, but don't really have the time for that at the moment...

Machine polish will get rid of minor marks and make it shine again.

No way to sort rust without paint though

if its just some rust spots, then get someone to colour match your paint (what you have now wont match the original colour) and put it into rattle cans. sand back to shiny metal patch over with paint and use an electric polisher to fade the edges of the repairs in. will last for a year or two. tbh there arnt really any shortcuts other than putting a sticker over each rust spot 🙂

Don't vinyl wrap. Crap bodywork to start with will look just as crap after a wrap. A cheap paint job would be a better finish. I do vehicle wraps, we had a cheap paint job done on our tatty runabout rather than wrap it our selves.
