I have both books - original versions too - sat in my book case. As said - inspiring, humorous and original. I'd also add 'Games Climbers Play' - still dip into it today.
Great books. My copy of 'Extreme Rock' is probably the most-thumbed book I've got in the house. Only ticked a few of them though.
It was what I expected, I heard the other day. Brilliant books, but I'm not letting on how many (well OK, few) I ticked. There are some wonderful photos of climbing "old style" - EBs and Arran jumpers.
'Games Climbers Play' - Brilliant articles. I've always loved the Mike Thompson ones.
