had it for a couple of years now ..only on left side. nothing too bad and can temporarily be sorted by a visit to the chiropracter but it always comes back quickly and is worst on waking up.
tried various stretches/massage etc but would like ask for further ideas that may help

I would be hoping that you SI joint is stiff. It's meant to be. Mu guess is that you landed on a straight leg at some point and jarred it or whatever. I would go and get a remedial massage and see if that sorts it out. If not then physio.
