Hopefully quick one: if I log in to various work computers (would be only 1 at any given time) using my personal windows log in, and then sign in to chrome on each to use my bookmarks/save sessions etc, do I have to sign out of chrome each time before logging out/shutting down windows?
I don't.
but if your window login is insecure, then your chrome would be too.
I think he means if Chrome is logged into your account on a PC, is it logged into that account for all users of the PC?
I suspect the answer is no, each Windows user can be logged into a different account on Chrome, and logging into Windows as Dougal Smith and then as Dougal@gmail.com in Chrome to sync bookmarks, password etc wouldn't then mean that John Doe could log into Windows, open Chrome and have access to all of Dougal's stuff.
Thanks...Yes that is exactly what I mean bails. Windows log in is secure. I guess I wanted to be sure Chrome log in isn't persistent between different Windows users sessions.
