Seems to be working OK.. Just thought it would suggest prancing ice or darcy and Jane period dramas

There's a Top Gear Special for the easily entertained. It's going to be so funny. I can't wait.

Google suggests call the midwife, down town abbey, the boy in a dress, Mrs Brown's boys, birds of a feather, Professor Branestawm, Dr who and a heap of other crap.

looks like none of the channels even bothered this year.

I won't be missing James May's Toy Stories on Christmas Day

err and that's about it.

Xmas TV is why I bought a PS4 earlier than planned.

Sky normally do something decent, tho. Think it's Oliver Twist this year. Apart from that, The Incredible Adventures Of Professor Branestawm might be worth a watch on Christmas Eve.

Thing is, OP, you don't mention what you have access to, what sort of things you like. So hard to make recommendations.

I have sky and stw.. What else is there? Don't like reality TV, period dramas, miranda, Dr who, anything involving minor celebrities desperate to revive their career. The only series I've watched and enjoyed recently is Gotham.

So your standards are quite low then 😉

I always enjoy the news. Good is a very subjective word.

Gotham is promising.

Although it does need to step it up a bit.

OP. Grab the Arrow season 1/2 boxset/netflix. Should be up your alley.

Try the Royal institution Christmas lectures, they are for kids but you might learn something if you haven't stupified your brain with a combination of inane family conversation, Mrs Browns Boys and bargain basement alcohol.
😕

I suppose The Wrong Mans will be worth a look.

It has James Corden in it so I'll avoid it like the plague.

Bit of Top Gear (purely so I can then moan about it, obv) Doctor Who and the only other program set to record so far is the soap box racing on Dave, Boxing day, looks fun 😀

Hinterland - returns on New Year's Day for a one off episode but the bad news is that it's only being shown on the Welsh channel S4C.

Am optimistic that it can be seen either on BBC i-Player or the Welsh equivalent. Website:

CG Doubt it will be on the BBC i-Player as S4C is the Welsh C4.

Might be on 4OD
