My (non cycling) boyfriend gave me a make-up organiser for Christmas. I think he's trying to tell me to be more ladylike or something...

Anyway, it's essentially a big metal box with compartments. Do you think he will be terribly offended if I use it to store all my cycling tools, spares and bits of broken bike that are currently cluttering up the garage?

I have a feeling that it's possibly not really intended for makeup and stuff, but yeah, go for it, so long as it gets used, and you appreciate it as a gift. 😀

Use it and keep your bike stuff in your bedroom, and your make-up in the garage???? 😆

<I would>

Essentially your boy friend bought you a toolbox and you are using it for that purpose. The only thing is that he was expecting you to fill it with Max Factor and Clinique and you are using it for Park and Lezyne Tools along with a bottom bracket that will come in handy one day.

Put it this way - I own three different shades of eye shadow, and at least 7 different types of bike lubricants and grease. I think might be fighting a losing battle...

Why ever not? I keep my make up in a tool box.
