The wife & I are considering two nights away, Xmas eve & Xmas day.
We need to get there in 1-2 hours, take the dog, & need a good atmosphere & an Xmas dinner etc.

Enquiries on the list are Red Lion at Burnsall, Victoria Hotel at Robin Hoods Bay.

Where would you recommend?

We need a pub or hotel, beer & cooked food. And we need to get there quickly after work on the 24th Dec.

Blacksmiths would have been perfect - but no room at the Inn

The Lion on Blakey Ridge might be worth a try.
