So over the last few years we've had a day out with the kids on Christmas Eve. Something fun for us and the kids. This year they'll be 9 and 12.
Previously we've done splash landings, ice skating with lunch out afterwards and stuff like that. Any ideas for this year?
Where in the UK?
Panic buying crap/extortionate Christmas presents to prepare them for married life?
Cider in the park.
Coke and hookers?
More seriously, subject to weather and state of organisation I'm hoping to get my two down to Hicks Lodge for a short ride to help tire them out before "Santa" visits*. Aged 8, 12 (and 45).
*they do know about "Santa", obviously, but like to humour me.
Riding is not an option this year as the mrs has had an op in the saddle area 😯
We're in Derbyshire, but don't mind travelling a bit. Anyone done flow boarding with kids?
Wetherspoons.
Tubing at the Swadlincote dry ski slope? Anything at Chatsworth?
Have they been to the Chestnut Centre at Chapel? Used to take ours there to see Santa when they were younger.
Go Ape?
