When HMCTS launched the new online application service back in the summer, for 2 or 3 weeks it seemed it had altered the national divorce rate as it rocketed. It did settle back though...but some odd stats seem to be emerging!

I make that 6 times lower than the normal daily rate.
Surprisingly low actually

It could be because people have more time to build patios over Xmas...

i too am surprised it is so low. If you have woken up miserable as hell in a bedsit on xmas mornin without access to your kids having the polar opposite of the day the marketing folk would like us all to believe was our right, filling in an on line divorce application could seem like a good use of your time.

Divorce for Christmas! I wasn't thinking about spending that much.

Read Mumsnet "Relationships" threads over xmas and I'm surprised anyone is still married.
If a man stays in the pub for an hour longer than promised there is a cacophony of "Leave him" - bloody heck!

Mumsnet = all men are bastards. Rapists too. Good idea for men to read up on that site before agreeing to getting married or entering into a committed relationship. In fact it should be on the national curriculum! Gives a good overview of what could and very often happens when it ends and how someone previously reasonable can be turned into a monster with all the ideas planted by her 'friends'.

Mumsnet - pit of vipers. Got to wonder why any of them are straight/married - men haters.

Uh huh, sure. You don't sound biased at all.

Nah he’s right it does seem a bit ‘toxic’ in there.

AIBU to think mumsnet spells the end of western civilisation?
I do however like the way they give little bunches of flowers to each other.
Could we do the same with inner tubes?

I run tubeless. Sending someone a splash of sealant emoji could end badly.

Relationship threads on here are little better in their attitude to women.
