Any boxing people about, how good is Junior will he get by Billy Joe?
Jr is untested so far. Saunder's had much better experience but isn't world class. Jr has a tendency to showboat in the ring much like his dad. Should be an interesting fight as they both have all action styles.
he can punch, that's for sure
Pickem fight for me
I'm going for Eubank..not because hes beaten anyone good, but because Saunder's just looks a bit average.
he can punch, that's for sure
Punchbags don't punch back
Saunders has fought a much better class of opponent and has a much better amateur pedigree, from what I've read from people who know their boxing is that eubank jr's opponents so far have been pretty poor, big step up for him, sunders doesn't seem a one punch knockout guy though, seems like an anything can happen on the night type of fight, saunders saying he will retire if he losers might make him take to many chances though as he doesn't want to look stupid and have to back down if he does lose.

Nor does this guy...
Nor does this guy...
Jukic was a bum but Jr threw everything at him and Jukic, although out of his depth, didn't really fold under any of Jr's full force body shots.
Compare that to what GGG did to Macklin with ONE punch
Eubank Snr said his son would beat GGG today. Pure hype, as he would never fight him.
I have a feeling Eubank jr beats Saunders. There was a vid of him sparring Froch and he looked good.
Golovkin v froch in vegas, now that's a fight worthy of ppv :-),please make it happen somebody.
Oh yes. I think if anything Golovkin moves down in weight rather than up unfortunately.
wartonhe can punch, that's for sure
Can he?
He might do better if that silly twonk in the suit would stop interrupting him.
I liked Eubank at first, but now he seems to be wanting to be a clone of his Dad. Maybe it sells tickets, but he needs to prove himself first. Beating Billy Joe will be a step on the way, but it'll be great if Billy beats him.
It's a pick em fight.
Expecting another wild one from Fury & Chisora. Fury by knock out in thater one.

Golovkin's in a horrible position. No one wants to fight him. The Martinez fight is gone after Cotto destroyed him. There's no way Roach lets Cotto anywhere near GGG. There's nothing else around for him at MW so his options are to go up or down.
Up creates options like Froch, but I can't see Froch being that daft. He's chasing JCC Jr who's a fat waste of space but will be big money. Ward appears to be pretty much retired.
Down is the more attractive option. There's talk of Mayweather but I reckon Mayweather Pacquiao will finally happen next year and Mayweather has one fight left after that. I cant see him risking his 0 (assuming he doesn't lose to Pacquiao)
Canelo is probably the most interesting fight for me at LMW.
Either way it's a shame a talent like GGG can't get the fights at his weight and he'll have to weight drain or take on much, much bigger opponents.
Martin Murray's fight with Gennady Golovkin is on channel 5 in feb, hope they start to show more fighters like golovkin on there,be a nice change from sky/boxnation (only because I haven't got either :-))
I do wonder if he'll regret this interview a few months back?
VERY NSFW by the way
That was rather entertaining! Hope he's right.
There was a vid of him sparring Froch and he looked good.
I thought that too, it's hard to really know the context of that sparring, it only lasts a few minutes, and it was edited and uploaded to Eubanks' Youtube Channel. I agree though, he is impressive and lands well in that footage.
All the bookies have it in Saunders' favour, but I guess that is based on his more proven record.
I can't help but like Eubank jr, it's an interesting approach to call out BJS like this, we'll see if it works.
The Martinez fight is gone after Cotto destroyed him
That was horrible for me, Sexy Sergio is my favorite current fighter and 18 months earlier he would have destroyed Cotto, He should not have taken that fight knowing the state of his knee's
I think Alvarez avoids GGG too.
Eubanks got nothing to lose really, even if he loses he will just say it was a bit early in his career and he'll get better and if he wins he'll have some belts and a shot at the wbo belt already
"I hate arrogant people. I'm one of the best middleweights in the game"
😀
I would say Eubank. The fight would like to se would be Antony Joshua vs. Tyson fury hopefully Joshua would knock the cocky git out in the first round
Is fury good now? Last I saw of him, he was really shit.
no change, still shit
