I have recentley started mountain biking last year. i was wondering if there is any more trails around chorley area other than Healey nab.
You need to get hold of the local Laird.

Lots of stuff around rivington and darwen. Some cheeky stuff over great hill too which is best in the summer.
See the hill with the little castle on top of it? Plenty round there.
Ditto the bigger hill with pointy things on top of it.

But more seriously, there's loads of stuff around Rivington and beyond. Sadly I don't live there any more (grew up in Horwich), but there are plenty on here who can probably show you around - Lowey being one of them.
absolutely tons. routes up to Pike, Up to Mast , round the ressies, through the garden all at Rivvy, White coppice area, Darwen if you care to do some serious miles and stuff if you drop down Bolton Side of the mast hill [ Winter Hill]
