Until recently I felt the venerable TCW had meerly imitators.

However I get served McVities Taxi when giving blood, and I am being won over. Rocky Caramel bars also deserve a mention.

On which side of this important debate do you reside?

Oh and has anyone ever posted a jobbie to someone they don't like?

Taxi is a knife wielding neighbour. Tunnocks is a 72 year old ex boxer.

Tunnocks no question. They're substantial and hardy.

Tunnocks. By a country mile.

Taxi? Have a word with yourself.

Rocky Caramel is up there with Tunnocks - they satisfy slightly different needs. Eating both by the packet is also mandatory and therefore they are usually avoided for home consumption.

Taxi? Call one for Al - inferior.

Are Tunnocks purely a Scottish thing?

Caramel log FTW

Dark chocolate -Tunnocks tea cakes - what's that about?

Regular Tunnock's teacakes trump all.

Tunnocks all the way, other cheap imposters aren't with a look. Nice bit of shortbread goes a long way in my books.

Tunnocks.

Obviously you are being effected in your mental faculties by the lack of blood in your system. Please do be careful when making such important and life changing decisions in this situation.

Taxi trumps caramel wafer, but Tunnocks caramel log trumps them both IMO.

Tunnocks caramel waifer may well be a cult classic, but I was pleasantly surprised by Tunnocks chocolate waifers. I have however returned to the cult classic.

Tunnocks is still a family owned business, and Boyd Tunnocks' grandson is a keen cyclist and founder of Team Teacake, who I believe was first to complete the Buchanan Street underground challenge.
So it has to be Tunnocks.

Am I the only person to have noticed al's last sentence? WTF?!?

Caramel Log for the win, although the one coated in toasted coconut trumps them all.

TCW wins in my book.

Not sure a jobbie is allowed in the post but it is a thing I have considered in the past, a few times.

Send them a Taxi instead.

So...we have established that Tunnocks is the Audi/Thomson/Howies of chocolate bars for the middle-class/would be working class of stw.

You are blinded by your hipster-self image failures. Taxis shit all over Tunnocks and * them up the , as do Rockies.

and as for the Tunnocks Cream WAfer, which I hoped would redeem the brand, forget it.

Funny you should mention that. Never before felt strongly enough about anything before, but now...

Rocky bars are nice, however they are let down by their diminutive stature. I think they suffer from the same shrinking syndrome as wagon wheels.

Tunnocks all the way. I reckon double decker, boost or a dark bounty are better than both though.
