sorry but I kept misreading the Chilean Miners thread title as above so I figured the only antidote for said condition was to make an actual thread about Chiltern Mincers.
I hope that helps.
It is an anagram of - 'Mineral Niches' and also 'Each Miners Nil'
phew, that IS a relief, But what of the Chiltern mincers, who's gonna rescue them?
They are beyond hope and probably not worth bothering with anyway
thats true, let them eat kendal mint cake.
I fail to see why we are mincers
its probably got something to do with ill advised potholing
I can flounce. Will that do?

So what would you do first when you got home from being trapped on the Chilterns for 10 weeks ? Showering perhaps ??
They have been able to have a shower everyday, so I'm not sure how much of a priority it will be for them :Chiltern mincers: A typical day in the life of a Chilterns mincer
Quote :
"Morning showers require the mincers to climb aboard a bulldozer-type all mountain bicycle that rumbles 300 yards down the double track to a natural waterfall where they shower, shampoo and clean off the ubiquitous rust-coloured mud.
Showers and breakfast are followed by morning chores............"
A mate from Oxford may be taking me for my first ride in the Chiltern hills this weekend. I envisage it to be perfect paths through blue bell woods with fluffy bunnies. What are they like to ride in reality?
savage briars, giant flint, greasy roots and sandy clay
sandy clay?
Does that mean it is really slippery and then creates nasty grazes when you fall?
Yes its horrific, perhaps the Chiltern shandy boys have a point, i've got the fear now
Oi! How come the mods haven't been along to delete this thread? Do the grumpy ones only work the graveyard shift?
