Right I need some help please. A friend has asked me to put together some recordings of kids TV characters catchphrases for a "guess the character round" at a quiz.

I thought this would be easy but so far I'm stuck on a shocking two with He Man "I have the power", and Yogi Bear "I'm smarter than the average bear". Can be from any era, a mixture of older and more recent would work well (it's a primary school PTA quiz so most people there will have young kids.

Can the STW collective help me come up with some more?
Also what's the best way to record these? They need them putting onto a CD, I thought about just using the dictaphone thing on my phone but it doesn't record the clips loud enough.

I'm out all day but will be back to say another big thanks later!

Wings are like a shield of steel- Batfink
"Once upon a time, there was a little girl called Emily, who owned a shop full of things that nobody wanted anymore". Bag puss.
"It's all gone quiet- too quiet" said Rhubarb- Rhubarb and Custard.
Makka pakka makka pakka makka pakka etc- in the night garden.
Will that do for now? Not sure about recording them- I'm sure someone will be along shortly that can help with that!

Good start ATP

Brune - I wish a day at head office where a mobile signal is dodgy and I don't really want to be going on STW through their network!

I'm mainly struggling with the character bit, I think I could manage it if it was things like "FAB" and "can you fix it?"I might resort to just sayings in programmes if so.

Thank you all. Some really good ones here.

Unfortunately I got a text earlier telling me not to worry as the original person who was asked to do this turned up with a CD!
