Worth it or just get an adult size and let them grow into it?
Looking to spend around £40 used for summer camping. Kids are 2 and 4 now.
Any help would of course be appreciated.
we found these excellent on a recent camp with our 6 & 8 year olds

Most of the kids sleeping bags we found were pretty useless. If they are sleeping on Air beds it's better to put a folded blanket under them and take their usual quilts. Less annoying zippage too!
Can pack small using vacuum bags. You don't need a vacuum just seal and squish.
Thanks Kimbers. What temperature did you experience please? It looks great.
nothing too cold hammy maybe 10C at night,
Perfect thanks
I used my kids sleeping bag into my early 20's. Only when I got anew one for Christmas did I realise not all sleeping bags are tiny and uncomfortable... Don't forget to buy them an adult sized bag!
Ive just bought a kids sleeping bag from decathlon for littleginge’s first camping trip.
So far he’s only been in it on the living room floor but it seems to be pretty well made (at least as nice as my older vango) and isn’t quite so much bag for his little body to heat up as a full size one. We should get to see how well it works in the field tonight, I’ll report back if it turns out to be anything other than uneventful.
We got an adult women's one for our oldest and simply stuffed the unused end back into the stuffsac to shrink it to fit. Far better quality bag and grows with her.

We use adult bags that we already had for ours and have done since they were 2 or so. Unless space is *really* tight I can't see any reason not to.
Thanks all.
Dunno if any good but Deuter have one on sportspursuit today ;

An old trick: get an adult's sleeping bag and use a belt to cinch the bag down to the appropriate length for the child. Then as they grow move the belt further down the bag.
^ That's what I've always done, but never occurred to me to use the stuff sack - brilliant, CSB!
