We've got a fairly lengthy journey coming up (Scotland to Yorkshire) and Flying Ox Jr. isn't the best at sitting still in the car for more than about 30 seconds at a time. On a recent transatlantic flight we discovered that a few kids TV programs downloaded to the Kindle Fire makes an exceptional babysitter for short (30 minute) periods, so we're thinking the same for the upcoming car journey. Only problem we have is that his tiny fingers tend to fiddle around so that every couple of minutes we hear an "uh oh" and the boy has either switched the screen off or found his way back to the home screen.
Is there any kind of childproof cover available where we can set the video playing then put the Kindle into some sort of case that prevents access to any buttons and the touchscreen?
It's a boggo standard Fire, if that helps.
tupperware box.
I guess I fail at design specification 😳
For the mk2, it would also be advantageous if the boy could see and hear the Kindle once it was protected.
Duct tape Ox jnr hands to seat? Much cheaper than a case. (Mrs Ox may not like this).
