Just an observation I made tonight, ****ing everywhere in derby centre!
lol
sorry its not entirely topic related, but where abouts in derby can you go mtb?
Few years back I went to Singapore, then Australia, New Zealand and then NYC. I can remember be amazing by the chewing gum and litter in NY compared to the other places on my trip. Especially at the top of the Empire State where people had stuck gum to the top of the wall you look over on the viewing floor at the top. Next time I go the other way round and do the NY first so the litter doesnt seem so bad.

As said up ^^ there not much in derby but belper and the surrounding stuff I ride is 10/15 mins away. Hth
It's a filthy disgusting habit; a few years ago Manchester spent a fortune on lovely new stone paving slabs for it streets and now they are all covered with those little white patches of gum that the muppets spit out.
I would ban it tomorrow if I was PM, even if the confectionary companies threatened not to give cash to my party.
One of the less appealing jobs I had as a McDonald's employee was to scrape the gum off the underside of tables and chairs and even the pavement outside. My hands were minty fresh afterwards though.
When I was about 7 I used to pick up peoples spat out gum and chew it myself.
They should just make the pavment from gum, it will probably last longer than the slabs.

Hey, so did I,did you ever get bits of tarmac stuck to your teeth ?
I have some on my shoe right now with a bit of ribbon in it. How cute.
I hate the way that when you scrape it off it reveals it's mintiness... it's like smelling a stranger who you can't see's mouth 😐
saw a bloke on the one show (I think) who uses the chewing gum to do art on, like a sort of extreme pavement art...very strange indeed.
I'd make those that drop it pick it up again weeks later, chew it and swallow it.
