i have a garden that runs wild, my old electric strimmer is'nt up to the job and a nasty mccuilloch i bought for 20quid is just a fuel leaking pile of rubbish.

can anyone recommend something sub 150 but cheaper the better please, new or a good model to look for used?

the ryobi li-ion cordless ones are really good. I wont be buying another petrol strimmer.

I bought several cheap (sub £150) Ryobi strimmers from Screwfix, did one every 12-18 months, they just died.

Bought a decent one £400, now into my 4th year with it.

You can keep buying cheap shit every year, or you can buy a Honda.
