What's good? Is a Gopro really worth spending the extra?

Bought a cheaply Rollei one from class ohlsen for £30 the other day. 720p video seems decent but not given it a real test yet, will post some samples up when I can.

What about a GoRoToe? Romanians strap to their feet and track perilous journeys across Europe to UK Podiatry centres.

Produces good foot-age.

I've got the rollei one too, seems pretty good. Just had the snip so it'll be a couple of weeks before I can get some decent footage out of it though

GoPro over-hyped.

Try this instead.

There was a link to a Hitachi camera from Argos a couple of weeks ago on a thread. A search should find it. There were some videos of footage on the thread as well as some other options.
The Hitachi one was £50 or £60.

Hitachi from Argos for 50 or rollei from 7 day shop for 40
Rollei looks better to me.

or SJ1000 from ebay/amazon and a variety of sellers, some very good reviews, comes with loads of mounts.

I bought a GP3 Black in an Amazon Black Friday deal before Xmas.
Spent a while surfing here
Sent it back.

Too spendy for "it might work, it might not".
