You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
It must have a headphone socket and expandable memory.
Will be used for internet radio , podcasts and Apple Music.
Sub £100 and many happy years of use.
Fire HD 10 32GB is ~£85, if you really mean expandable storage, rather than memory.
I had a Fire tablet - sound quality was awful compared to iPad. If you're not bother by that then it was otherwise fine.
Why do you want a tablet to play music? An old phone - or indeed, probably your current phone - will do everything you've just listed.
What's the headphone socket for? Headphones or an external device?
Expandable storage for... streaming music?
Headphone socket to connect to amp.
Expandable memory to download my favourite radio shows.
Tablet as a bigger screen is better.
Does a Fire work with Apple Music?
The way forward. Mind and ears blown. No kidding.

Just have a screen protector ready to cut to size👍
It's been a while, but Mitsubishis were always reliable.

If you want a cheap, big touchscreen, you'll get a cheap DAC and iffy sound quality through the headphone socket.
Get something else to do the conversion from digital to analogue, either
- a standalone DAC using the USB port - you'd need a splitter cable so you can power the tablet and get the music data out at the same time, if it's going to be a permanent install, left in place for all-day playing. Otherwise it might be fine to get hours of music out then swap to charge cable overnight?
- or a bluetooth module plugged into your hifi
Then you can a cheap screen for picking the music (you don't need pin sharp resolution and 120image refreshes a second) and decent sound quality.
You need a different combo of specs than you usually find in a tablet. Great sound comes with great screen and great processor and everything else, but you just need a cheap screen, storage options and a decent DAC. Split them up, buy them from different places.
Samsung A8 Mini in the kitchen for just that. Does the job fine. Was prob £140 but must be cheaper now.

This was discussed a few days ago, search back. It's a poor solution IMHO.
Expandable memory to download my favourite radio shows.
Are you planning on keeping them? You don't need a lot of storage for temporary files. If you're intending to build up a library than some sort of network media server may be a better long-term solution, I repurposed an old PC.

For music?
Does a Fire work with Apple Music?
No idea here, sorry.
I would suggest a streaming amp/speaker could be a better bet. Control it wirelessly from your phone/tablet and no cables needed.
Fire will weirdly allow Apple music, but not Apple TV
If this is only going to be for home use then, as others have said, why not go for a proper streamer? Quality will be better and they are better designed to be used as a hi-fi component. Although outside your budget, the current Black Friday deals on the Bluesound node make it a tempting option. Or the STW favourite the Wiim pro / pro plus. Maybe a cheap phone or tablet to be the user interface to the streamer.
It's for our shop.
We currently have a iPhone 6 which the charge port was worn out.
Dawned on me today that the port is on the battery pack and that the phone one is still working.
So ignore this thread!
If you want an old phone I have a Xiaomi M9Lite that I'm about to advertise.
Takes a memory card and has a 3.5mm port
Apart from screen size it would work.
