Considering getting a cheap streaming speaker, don't want to spend the money on Sonus or similar, not looking to replace my "proper" hifi.
Anyone tried one of these? Azatom Stealth Air £120 on Amazon
Gets pretty decent reviews on there but can't seem to find much more information.
Is just another £35-40 for a Sonos play 1 - you won't be disappointed.
Sometimes the cheaper option is exactly the opposite.
the reviews don't look that favourable - could be the reason it's currently 1/2 price
The Pure Jongo system is supposed to be OK & fairly good value. The main complaint seems to be sometimes flaky software, but it seems to be that some people get on with it and others don't.
It'll work over Bluetooth as well as wireless & also has a 3.5mm cable in as well, which I don't think Sonos has on all models.
They also do a hi-fi adaptor, which can be had for a very low price on places like Amazon. Last time I looked it was down to about £20.
The Sonos will do bluetooth-a-like playback from its app. I'd rather they'd just jack in their own software and get thoroughly into bed with iTunes, Bonjour & Airplay, but I can't fault the quality of the hardware.
