Hi im after a printer but tbh it wont be used a huge amount. Previous ones I ended up needed new cartridges every time I needed to use it. Has much changed on this front or is a laser one best bet
Mono would do but really colour is handy for maps. Wifi compatibility a must really
Am I better going 60 quid on inkjet or double that on laser. Will a laser never dry up or is that rubbish. And do modern inkjet last any longer these days
Cheers
I think lasers are far better if they stand idle for a long time. We got a wifi mono laser for about £65 and it's great. We use it mainly to print from tablets. Don't use and don't need colour really.
This is ours

Seems to have gone up a bit since we got it. They do a colour version as well, but you end up spending a lot more on consumables. A mono toner cartridge cost about £35 and will last us a couple of years, and it comes with one fitted.
Thats one of the ones I looked at in tesco today I may just go for that thanks
