Looking to buy a cheap laptop £3-400. Where should I be looking beyond Currys/PC World?

I would prefer to pick it up today rather than order it but if you make a good recommendation I could be swayed. Based in Southampton if that affects anything.
Tesco sometimes have good deals.

Dell online will be best value for money when buying new i think, but i would get one second hand off of preloved or gumtree.

Try Staples. HP Sleekbook would get my vote. I've seen them in store at £449 inc VAT
Think for the money this one is brilliant.
Core i5 processor and loads of memory. Cheaper version has 4gb of ram.
