i want to buy a bigger capacity SD card for my eos 100d, looking on ebay but am a bit wary that they are cards that have a MAX capacity.

where can i get them from at good prices?

Those two ^^^

Personally, I use MyMemory and always go for a fast Sandisk card. They are so cheap now that I don't think it's worth buying a 'budget' one unless you really have to.
I have bought two 'cheap' cards in the past and one couldn't keep up with the continuous shooting on my D80, even though it was a class 10 card, while the second literally fell to bits after hardly any use - the shell just fell apart.
