I've been asked to get one for a present for someone but I know nothing about them.
What the best activity tracker for say £40?
I've seen Xiaomi, Honor, Huawei etc at this price range but I'm unsure what's the best.
Breakfast bump
I had Xiaomi one a good few years ago (5+) and it worked very well.
It was a Mi 2 Band I think.
I have a huawai band 3 i think.
It gas GPS.
It doesn't link to Strava etc but thats been outweighed by the fact its always close to hand.
Its fine really nothing to complain about. GPS is nice to have but not essential especially if you have your phone or you have a dedicated GPS watch you'd use anyway.
Xiami MiBand 4 is a good option at that price point. Nice screen, afaik it doesn't have a GPS but you can just piggy back off the phone. If it's a gift you could also get a different strap (and all under that 40gbp total) to make it look a bit less plasticky.
Top tip, if you do get one - you don't have to use the official software on your phone, there are prettier alternatives.
Got the xiomi mi band4 for my wife
Seems very good for the price-24 quid
HRM, steps, calories, battery lasts for days
Doesn't have GPS but you link to phone to get it.
Another mi band 4 user. It’s very good especially for the price, although I found my HR was constantly 10bpm high across the range compared to a Garmin HR strap, but if that doesn’t bother you or you just account for that who cares.
thanks!
