I've got a couple of old big rucksacks. Like 70-80 litre proper trekking rucksacks that I don't need any more. Both Vango, one early 90's one late 90's.

Anyone know of anywhere that could make use of them? Any charities?

Possibly Gift Your Gear, but the stuff sounds very old:

Yeah they're old, but still good condition. Probably weight a ton compared to new stuff.

Wonder if my lads school might want them for Duke of Edinburgh stuff....

Some homeless charities may take them. I did some volunteering with one such charity over Christmas where homeless people were fed and could get donated clothes, toiletries etc. We had a number of rucksacks which went in the first couple of days, and several requests for them in the following days.

This reminds me I have a garage half full of stuff I should do something with like old tents, stoves, lights and clothes. Time for a clear out I think!

Great idea. Will see about re-homing my old ones like that.

Ooh, good to know. We've ended up with a bunch of kit all branded up for the Girl Guide Jamboree in Poland 2020 which got cancelled. Don't get me started on how every trip needs it's own printed kit, even schools are up to it now.
