The only outrageous thing is how backward the education system in this country is!

WOW, she's direct.

I like her attitude, I'm astonished the school/parents went along with it.

Just switched this on. If she is pretty direct, yet on a TV programme might she be a little more direct than other Dutch sex ed teachers? I'd imagine they've chosen someone to be on it because they stand out a little more than the norm.

She's supposedly on it as she is one of the world's leading sexual health experts.

Cringing at the attitude of the boys, feel so sorry for the girls.

I have one of each. I need to raise my game as a parent if mine are not grow up like that.

Well, yes, she's direct - that's how they do it over there on the mainland. She's also Belgian. And has been a UN ambassador for sexual and reproductive health. I reckon she kinda knows what she's talking about. But, I suppose, it's all been put on for TV - so let's just rubbish a new approach and stick with record levels of STDs and high teenage pregnancy rates (for a developed world nation).

Well,she's Belgian isn't she.

Weird that the teenage girls have no clue about where parts of their body are !

The boys are vile, really !!

I'm not knocking her at all, she is spot on with such an open and broad approach. Loving the boys having to shave. 😆

The boys are just playing up for the cameras. They seem quite nice lads really and have a good relationship with the girls. It's a refreshing outlook on sex education and would probably benefit most teenagers.

Btw, I'm not saying her approach is bad at all or rubbishing it. I like it.

Just wondering whether all sex ed over there is as direct and as confident as she clearly is. After all she is a UN ambassador so is at the top of the tree.

First concerned parent. Jeez.

Don't you go getting my daughter to learn about her body. We don't do things like that round here. Her boyfriend will teach her that!! 😆

My sex ed teacher was an obese blonde who'd stuff her cleavage in the lads faces by leaning across the tables.

^^ Me just now.

Good to see the girls getting empowered, and the boys thinking a bit more about consent.

The boys will be chatting up girls from other schools by telling them "I went to the school of sexual pleasure".

Haven't watched it yet, but it's apparently filmed in my old high school.

Excellent viewing. Was left with the uncomfortable thought that she might be the only true adult present at any time on that programme, all of the others seemed desperately uncomfortable. We are most definitely a nation of s****ing schoolkids - and seems like nothing much has changed since I was a kid (ie boys learn about sex from porn, girls learn from boys expectations of them)

Great programme. I thought Jay from The Inbetweeners was a fictional character, but apparently he's alive and well in Accrington 😆

I hope that between school and our parenting, our boys get that level of sexual education.

And despite the Netherlands very liberal attitude to sex, they have the lowest rate of teenage pregnancy.

I thought the boys attitudes at the end was actually quite surprising.

There is not enough open talk about sex at schools, the fact that the clitoris is not in any diagrams was an eye opener.

I think it's a great idea, but doubt the country will ever be willing to accept something like this.

The attitudes of the old bloke who didn't even know the stats on the amount of kids that watch porn is just typical of the problems that we face. People with no clue as to what is actually going on making decisions based on what they think is happening in the real world.

They all have their head in the sand, worrying about children knowing about sex. For gods sake - it's what we were put on the earth to do.
