Just been on holiday for a week and logged back onto the STW site. My user name has changed from my first name (Tom) back to my log in name - How do I get it back to Tom again?

some people were being silly with it so they took away the option
One of the more, errr, vocal members recently left the forum in a sulk (and a whole thread!) asking the mods to delete his account, and then re-registered under a new name a worryingly few days later. You could always try that!
Mine is still changed, my original username was Buzzlightyear but as there is another user on here with the same name and he uses the site much more than myself i emailed asking for mine to be changed. Perhaps thats why mine hasnt gone back to my original.
No worries - just prefer my proper name over my user name. Not going to have a strop over it thats for sure
...oh just in case, the 'sulk' in question wasn't particularly about his ever-changing names, it just seemed to be usual forum politix, percieved 'unfair moderation' and arguments etc..
