Looks like they changing the way they do some passes.

Judging by some of the comments, not many like the change.

I think they may be doing some back peddling on that change, the locals don't seem happy.

That sounds good - the Paygo pass holders will no longer have to go in a low priority queue - seems fair to me, means you can make the trip without having to plan weeks in advance.

Think the issue is that there will be no more payg, just a limited number of £30 half day passes, with fixed hours. Which can only be bought on site. Without knowing in advance whether you'll be able to get one or not.

Oh, yeah. I seem to have found the only positive! So you have to book in advance anyway, if you're travelling far, or there's a risk of not getting a pass... and the price of the half-days is a bit silly too... Hmm, maybe they need to think again.

£28 for 1/2 day! Slightly less actually. That's bad bad bad.

If I go to BPW I've peaked by lunch, so would have been perfect if say £18-20.

I suspect the limited number of half-day tickets ain’t gonna be that limited.

I guess for most people it’s a day out and don’t mind spending a bit, for me it’s a local alternative and I prefer to alternate between riding up and the bus. £30 is a bit steep.

I’m pretty sure day passes are now double what they used to be and all day lift passes are 80% more. That’s a lot in a couple of years.

I know it’s not like you can just wake up and choose between them... but at £42 a day it’s a decent % more than Whistler Bike Park at £33 a day or a PDS pass at £25 a day...

Depends how much they rely on local drop-in income during the week. Can't believe it's all that busy weekdays out of holiday time, and nearly £30 for a few hours of uplift won't fly.
