We are looking to head up to see if we can see any jets on the Mach loop tomorrow. We are thinking of stopping on the layby on the A487 just up from Minffordd and walking up the hill a bit from there.

Realistically what are the chances of a sighting? I looked on the website and it said if they make a pass it will be between 11:45 and 12:45. Can anyone cast and more light on this for me please.

It's not an airshow 😄 some of the photographer's can spend hours up there without seeing a thing but there are so many variables you just can't be sure.

That being said It's gotta be worth an hour and you never know your luck.

May be quieter than usual due to the “incident” with a Typhoon last week.

I doubt the 'incident' will see the RAF cancelling training ops
