It really is a bit shit, less than 50 percent of tickets going to fans for the champions league final, but the Europa league is a joke with only 6k for each club. There's bound to be loads sold on and a lovely volatile atmosphere of fans in mixed areas. Uefa showing their love of the English game as usual!

UEFA website:

a total amount of 37,500 tickets are being made available to fans worldwide via UEFA.com. The number of tickets reserved for supporters of the two finalists will be confirmed in due course, with the remaining tickets being allocated to the local organising committee, national associations, commercial partners and broadcasters, and to serve the corporate hospitality programme with competitive packages available here

so depends a lot on your interpretation of the word "fan", really

Twas ever thus.

You can't have a league buoyed by corporate cash, and keep it to the flat capped man.

Nobeer has it right, this ain't about sport, it's about making moneyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.

Very little to be had from the average fan it's all about the corporate packages.

Some of the Hotel horror stories are awful too. It's a disgrace.

At least its not at Wembley, so we'll be spared the sight of all the empty corporate seats where the great and the good can't be arsed coming back out for the second half, preferring to sit sampling the hospitality instead.

If you ever wanted a metaphor to summarise modern football, that's it

Was the same when we went to seville, think the official allocation was 15k or 20k tickets for a 60k stadium, canny mind exactly. we still ended up with 45k in the stadium mind! 😆

I got a ticket through the supporters club, 21 euro! Doubt that price will ever happen again!

My brother got a ticket for the "neutral" end, but that was bought long before the final on the chance that we'd get there, loads bought those, think they came out before the quarters. Doubt they'll be available mind those tickets get punted ages before this anyhow.

As for digs, they were a nightmare, I ended up just booking a hotel in malaga for a week and traveled up for 2 days and just winged it from there, it was spain, not like dying from exposure was a concern! 😆 kipped in one night with some mates, 2nd night, just kipped at the train station before the heading back to malaga.

I have a guess most peoples best chance for a ticket, if they aren't involved in official club routes like supporters clubs or independents ticket schemes etc, will be to get pally with someone in the corporate sections of your club and blag a ticket from there..
