Anybody else supporting or doing the Celtman tomorrow?

Also, PSA to avoid Torridon!

A mate of mine from West Lothian Tri club is doing it.

Give him a cheer if you see him, please.

Got a friend there who is doing it. Look out for 157 and tell her she has got this (and to speed up to make the cut offs).

Cousin also there as a support runner.

Good luck to all taking part!

I expect you'll be pretty busy but I'll make myself known if I get a chance!

I'm support runner for no.99.

So I did see your mate I think but couldn't see his number/name. Looked like he was having a bit of a rough time on Beinn Eighe but still moving.

My buddy got his full bhuna blue jersey yesterday. He got it in 2022 strictly speaking but we had to run the low route in the dark and pissing rain.

Gutted I couldn't accompany him over beinn eighe this time but last year's respiratory issues and young children  have been plaguing me any time I get stuck in to getting my fitness back to where I wouldn't be a liability for him  🙁

If anyone gets the chance to support I highly recommend it it's got a hell of an atmosphere.

How come it was dark? We didn't finish until 11.20, it was pretty overcast but still didn't need a torch!

Think we were 9.45 but it was grim. We ran in low cloud even on the low route.

Looking at at photos - even on the first hill it was low cloud. Was pretty grey and low light by 19:45 as we approached the high point of the low route.

Was all but dark when we got back to the hall

Photos I saw from the finish showed the sun out at the hall in early evening.  Buddy landed at 8.30 last night and it couldn't have been a more different finish than our previous photo.

In 2022 yes. No one got over the high course.

You ran round to t2b and went backwards up what you would have run down and continued on past that towards and under beinn alligin  and come down to the being alligin carpark
