Not been for a few years, anyone got any hot tips for must see gigs.
I've got pretty eclectic tastes.
First saw and fell in love with Jackie Oates there a number of years ago, (then saw her down at the Tolpuddle Martyrs festival, sigh), loved the Imagined Village, hot Swedish string trio Baskery, a fantastic Romanian (I think) band (the music was almost like Ska) who had the Fruit Market seriously bouncing.
I like dancey, rhythmic, passionate and tend to favour female vocalists like the very wonderful Gillian Welch.
So tell me what are peoples recommendations.
