Skechers fit if i get them a size or two too long, but find they dont last long and are expensive.
Really like the fit of minimalist barefoot/foot shaped shoes but hate the very thin sole. If there was something like that but with a normal, thicker sole it would be perfect.
Anyone recommend any brands to look at?
Merrell Wrapt, follows the barefoot concept (zero drop and foot shaped) but has a 13mm stack
FiveTen Freeriders have become my casual shoe of choice, have three pairs in different colours from different PSAs
Since Crocs came into (actual) fashion I wear them for everything.

If you have natural foot shaped feet like I do then its very difficult. Most folks feet have been constrained in shoes and are narrower than natural. I am an 8 for length but wear 10s to get a wide enough shoe. I've never found a solution other than getting shoes that are too long. I supose cosyfeet might do but I do have some self respect
My friend wears five tens as a daily wear as he likes them so much.
I flit between a pair of sketchers something or other, A pair of Merell something or other, and some sort of Addidas pumps.. unless it's a special occasion, then I have a one set of black and one set of brown leather shoes.
And I wear crocs around the house, they are really good for what they are after years of dissapointing slippers. I wouldn't wear them in public though, lol!

My daughter has several pairs of shoes from the Czech brand Belenka becuase she doesn't get on with the thin sole that Vivos have, they are available in the UK from HappyLittleSoles.co.uk. She also like her Bohempias which are a Converse lookalike that are footshaped.
Vivos with the FG sole are easier on your feet because they have a thicker rubber sole 5.5mm vs 4m for the Primus sole, its only 1.5mm but it really makes a difference to how much texture you feel through them.

My feet managed to be narrower than the shoes I wear without constraint thank you. Discipline thats all thats required, non of this ****less unconstrained sprawl.
I have very tender feet and whilst not massively wide they are a bit taller than most manufacturers design for so a lot of shoes are very tight, and uncomfortable.
I can wear my De Walt or Dickies steel toe cap work boots all day, but they're not what the OP is looking for. But when I'm not wearing them my Adidas Runfalcon trainers are like walking on clouds. My Runfalcon 2 pair fell apart last week and I got a new pair for £35 delivered that I'm wearing now (having just come back from the chiropodist).

Everyone's feet are 'foot shaped', just as everyone's hands are hand shaped, but people's feet have different proportions, width, volume, arch height or not, toe lengths etc. The thing when people somehow imagine that their particular feet are the 'correct' shape and bemoan the lack of footwear that fits them is a bit bonkers.
The reality is that most footwear brands produce shoes and boots that fit a medium sort of foot shape because that way they sell more product. If you don't fit in those parameters, it doesn't mean your feet are 'foot shaped', it means they're wider, narrower, weirder or whatever than most feet and you'll find it more difficult to source shoes that fit them.
None of which is rocket science.

Another vote for Birkenstock. I have always been a 9 or even 10 in most brands, to get the width.
In Birkenstocks I'm an 8 but with the wider fitting, and find them very comfy. (Annoyingly, Birkenstock themselves refer to the fittings as 'regular' and 'narrow', however most shops only stock the narrow version, and consider it 'normal'. It's safest to get them direct from Birkenstock to avoid confusion. Also, follow the instructions on their site for measuring your feet)

No they're not. Many people have miss shaped big toes that point inwards due to wearing shoes that narrow at the end.
More and more shoe brands now are making shoes that follow a more foot shapped design to allow your big toe to sit where it is suposed to be.
Converse? The choice of weightlifters as a low stack, wide soled shoe before barefoot shoes become a thing.

Don't make you look like a wierdo-ish. Gen X will look down on you for not wearing brogues from some double barreled name in Northampton. Gen Z will look down on you for trying to be cool and failing, especially if paired with trainer-socks. They also do various backed-out and leather versions if you want to blend in a bit.

I think my feet are on the wide side, but mostly "high volume" as they've a tall arch and midfoot (so I tend to wear wider fittings. I'd say they're wide enough to give normal feet room to spread out properly, but perhaps not objectively wide for wide feet.

Most folk have shoe shaped feet not natural foot shaped. I didn't wear shoes until I was 6 and have always gone barefoot a lot. My toes are splayed and there are gaps between them even tho my big toes do turn in a bit.
If you have natural shaped feet then shoe buying is very difficult. all my shoes and boots have an empty inch at the front
yes folk also have different shaped feet some wide and some narrow but it is no5 a natual foot to have no gaps between your toes - thats the result of wearing shoes all the time
Hard to beat Vivo if you’re wanting a more natural shape and a bit of freedom. Bloody expensive though. I have several pairs that all appear to be wearing out at the same time. Looked at the revivo service but it isn’t much cheaper than buying them new/in a rare sale.
Comfiest I own are a pair of Vibram Five Fingers that are going on for 13 years old and the sole is only just starting to wear badly.

My everyday footwear is altra lone peaks, the slight downside is that other walking about shoes feel weird.
