[Closed] Cast Iron guttering & downpipes. Scrap value?

Just replacing our guttering and downpipes. All cast iron, but split in places, hence replacing. Just wondered if they had any scrap value at all?

about £90/Tonne at moment.

I took a couple out last year. Looked up the value above (pretty similar then) Took them to the tip with a car load of other stuff that needed to go.  Chucked em in the metal bin.   Anything else would have been more effort than it was worth. (£3)

Every time I've dumped metal in as a skip it's been gone the next morning, a passing builder takes it. On occasions they've knocked and asked if it's OK to take it.

Yes they do have scrap value. Take them to a scrapyard, you'll get enough to pay for a curry and a couple of pints.
