As per the title. The watch has stopped, but the back light still works?

Do these things have two batteries or hold a charge for the light, or is it dead?

Yep. 2 batteries.

CR1616 for illumination

SR920SW for watch operation.

Replace both together.

Check O ring before replacing back, for water resistance.

eBay? High Street will always over charge for batteries.

And do all Casio analogue watches have the same batteries?

Got it done anyway. Need it for tonight as I don't want to get the Omega shaken to bits or covered in crap.

Lifetime battery deal at Timpsons and pressure tested.

How did they pressure test it?

Do they have some kind of test rig?

Was the deal on both batteries?

They have a test rig.

Didn't bother with the illuminator battery because, as a child of the 1970s, it was drummed in to me never to use the light on your digital watch!

Local watch dude has my Edifice watch which needs to batteries and my guy quoted me $40. I usually do it myself but one of the case back screws appears to be made from cheese and rounded off. I read to just pull the case back and snap off the screw head then remove but I actually ended up bending the actual case back as this was made of Dairylea and the tiny screw didn't snap! So $40 to fix and replace batteries and apply some silicon grease and pressure test didn't seem that bad!
