I was asking around a bit ago for ways to carry a camera on a bike. Well, I was watching this video about a bloke riding round the world and noticed that he was using a stabilizing strap attached to his camera and strap, similar to what I think Crumpler call “third leg”

After some Googling I found that what he is using is a “rille strap” which you can but for the princely sum of 40 Euros. https://ride-rille.com/

That seemed to be a bit ludicrous, so I made my own with an old camera strap and a small karabiner. I use it with a small Peak Design sling, not the camera itself.

I've done similar but used a magnetic Fidlock buckle, which that Rille strap also uses, I notice, which does make it easier to clip/unclip. 40€ is insane.

Seems a good solution.

I don't mind 40euros for carrying 1K plus of camera.

I've tried loads of different cameras and options. My current rx100VA is the sweet spot.

Not on the durable side though.
