The Carlton bank track is not a huge long track but it has tons of lines all over it, but alsoa few walkers crossing those lines, so make sure you havea lookout if your doing anything.

Ayton quarry is a few miles from Carlton bank, there's also Guisborough Woods, Eston hills (very technical in places but a very dodgy area, think quad bikes, pit bulls, and giro's!), and a few other parts of the north yorkshire moors worth riding wthin a close area. I reckon if your travelling and looking for a good full days downhilling visit Carlton bank then Eston hills if you have any time.
