Recently started a new job and just had an appraisal, which is all fine, one question that came up is any courses that interest you.

The job i am in is producing Reports for a CRM dynamics install, plus some Cognos and Excel stuff.

Thinking if i need to find a new job what would help my cause? What do potential employers look for, certificates experience, both? Are there any skills more in demand than others?

Bare in mind i have to relate it in someway to what i am doing?

if you want to go techie you could try SQL/RDBMS area, otherwise what about Dynamics Admin ((**is there such a thing)or even development or more Cognos

try punting through www.jobserve.com that is a pretty representative view of the IT world.
