Window seat, car with curtain airbags, and will have to go alongside a Group 2/3 seat.
What do you reckon?
Mine have been on boosters since 7 ish, and they are no giants. They started to get uncomfortable in the more enclosing ones (the 4 year old is still in one) and didn't wiggle around so much on a normal booster, which I figured was safer (i.e. the belt stayed where you want it).
Not sure for an 8 year old. Ours are only little (now 4 and 5), I have cheap boosters in my car but in the wifes we have ones with back and sides. Mainly for comfort on longer journeys when they fall asleep (although though just fall forwards instead of to the side!)
Having just tried him in his little brothers seat - a pretty big Britax one - he doesn't fit, can't get his shoulders in properly.
So I guess, like brass neck says, it's not much good if he can't actually fit in it?
Then my wife tells me the doctor weighed him the other day and he was 35kg - the weight limit for these seats is 36kg!
once they are tall and heavy enough you get advised to just use the seatbelt.
apparently a video is on Which
Will check out which, thanks.
Double check this info but I think when they are 135 cm tall they don't need a booster seat. Jnr b is 1 cm shy at present. Bring out the rack
2" short here.
