I have some Osprey neoprene seat covers that are great post ride but they get sweaty and after a while leave a slight dark mark on the seat. Fine for occasional use but I'm looking for something semi permanent that doesn't sound rustley or make the seat uncomfortable. Just want to protect the seat from day to day use and dirty work clothes.

It's for a 4 seat berlingo. Not too fussed about the rear seats but a full set might be nice. Theres loads of sets that range from £40 to £200 but not sure if the extra cost is worth it.

Any recommendations?

We got some Ukatex ones from Germany for our last campervan. It was a factory built Westfalia with special Isri captain seats. They were a perfect fit although a little tricky to install. Even had arm rests included. They take a few weeks to arrive but they are made to order. I can't recommend them enough if they have your vehicle in the list

I've got a set of Turtle Covers for my Caravelle which I've been hugely impressed with.  Tailor made to fit rather than the generic size fits no one style.

Those turtle covers only offer a drivers side seat cover for the 5 seater. (Not the van version)

I used to have some generic universal ones, I think they came from halfords.  They weren't waterproof though but did keep the interior looking presentable despite what I threw at it.

Fit wise, they looked OK from the front but the backs were only designed to cover about 60% of the seat, I guess it allowed access to the pockets. It took a bit of time to get them on and fitting correctly, and  a few extra zipties to ,make sure all the hooks had somewhere to attach and were roughly evenly tensioned.  They lasted over 100k miles so can't complain really.

Rear seats didn't work as they only came in a 60/40 split version which my car didn't have.

I'd spend more if I did it again,. but the cheap ones did the job.

Ignoring the “semi-permanent” part* I like the look of Scuvvers. Ready to use in a moments notice, and very easy to clean if you’ve made them manky after riding or whatever

We've a pair of Scuvvers now - like them a lot.  Fold up small enough to always keep in the car for when you need them.  Super tough.  We had some perm fit covers but they either ended up on when we weren't biking or not fited when we were muddy.

-'s

- don't cover the front edge of the seat (so the back of your legs can still make that dirty).

- sometimes get pulled down and disconnect from headrest when you're sitting on them.

They did a mail shot with 2 for 1 on the cream coloured ones on the 14th but can't see it on their website.

That's similar to the neoprene ones I have now. They are very good but get hot and sweaty if used every day. Some kind of fabric cover would be ideal. Then after a ride I'll use the neoprene covers ontop for the journey home.

The ones I recommend are fabric covers. If you look at the photo you can see the old fabric on the rear seats

Two days and no one has posted about beaded seat covers?

@Elshalimo : the passenger seat cover looks a bit baggy in the photo. Is that just a trick of the light's reflection or...?

It's the light. They were an excellent fit. I thought they were quite hard to fit but I'm just impatient. My wife adjusted them no problem after I got frustrated with threading straps under the seat.

The back of the seat fit was truly excellent. The seat base was a tiny bit "loose" but when you sat on them they were like factory fitted covers. I was really impressed as they were special captain seats for a motorhome.

That's brilliant, thank you. I've been trawling for a while now and am tempted to splurge for once in my life instead of being a cheapskate!

Choosing from the many designs was harder than fitting them
