Sharpie then don't wash it for a while.
Any suggestions to maintain marital bliss?

HaHa a "Big hitter" on here sold me a frame with Sharpie masking cable rub on the rocker arm. Must be a standard STW solution.
Could you have some vinyl wrap fitted on the arches?
£100 from your local mobile dents 'n' scuffs guy.
I speak form experience. :-/
Just don't tell her. I'd never notice that. If she does notice sometime in the future... well, anyone could've done that!

Is it on or in?
Looks onfrom here ,if so polish off.
Edit ,the lower one looks definitely in.
Not really something you can easily fix yourself.
If it isn't too deep than wash it, colour in with a black sharpie and then after an hour or so, apply some colour fast black polish and polish it away. It won't be perfect but should be okay from a metre or so.
I did this with a red marker and polish as a kid when I drove mum's car through a hedge and only got found out when it went to the garage because it was overheating and there was a branch stuck int he engine bay squashing one of the pipes.
I'd start with some colour enriched t-cut. If it's mostly on rather than in then that'll clean it up a lot, then forget about it.
Looks like that could have happened in a supermarket car park you have been shopping today haven’t you? Option 2 mrs Wally already knows and is testing you…with inevitable consequences if when you fail the test. Fess up and get it fixed !! Let us know how it goes
Try polish/t-cut/scratch remover to see how it cleans up. Most of that white will be house not car. Be careful not to make it worse though
Alternatively, as it's a trim piece, a professional fix should be reasonable?
Also you might also be able to buy a whole new trim piece in the right colour.
I wouldn't contaminate that with anything IE polish or silicon if you want paint to adhere later. Local repairer should be able to do that on your drive.
Seem slightly bitter? Used bike no?
Local body shop I'd not bother with chips away or similar
Gentle clear coat safe scratch remover Meguires scratch-x, ultimate compound or autoglym paint restorer on that whole trim piece. Final coat of something decent over top too.
I wouldn't touch any modern paints with t-cut especially when diminishing gentle cut polishes are available.

Any body shop will be stripping any surface applied treatment off before they paint anything so that's no concern.
If you’re lucky that’s paint transfer from your house more than in the surface car’s paint.
If so a light rub with some solvent (use sparingly)on a cloth may remove the worst.
Once dry, some Autoglym SRP on a microfibre should restore the finish.
If the paint is broken , just get a mobile pair guy out.
Given area of damage I’d get a quote from a body shop to supply replacement and paint as it’s a clip on part and can be done without the car on site except for fit.
Mobile won’t be that much cheaper and results are never as good or long lasting.
Try some black car polish. You may find you are happy with the result and save on the cost of full repair.
Looks like when I scraped a whitewashed wall in a multi-storey. Mostly buffed out with T-Cut Black Colourfast. Few small marks visible if you know what you're looking for.
Any suggestions to maintain marital bliss?
Ignore it until it's noticed by your wife. At that point feign total ignorance whilst expressing heart felt commiseration.
If your jedi mind trick works so well that she starts to think that she caused the damage unknowingly, reinforce that thought immediately but gently so as to maintain the moral high ground. You're not a monster after all.
If at any point in the above she starts to even hint that she thinks you did it then you must look her square in the eyes and say, "At the tip of the spear all I care about is operating." Then walk away with apparent purpose while she ponders what the hell that means, thus buying you time to regroup.
If all goes well, have it repaired as a Valentine's Day present thus remedying the damage whilst saving money on a Valentine's Day gift.

What will Mrs Wally get to wear though?
Source some G3 rubbing compound. Wet it, clean cloth plus elbow grease.
You need to clean out the scratches to see if you have rubbed paint onto your car. It might be a case of removing the house paint from your car.
Otherwise its probably going to be a chip's away repair.
