So our Mondeo is now six years old and the user name may not give a clue we have had cars before.
Noticed in this ownership or slightly forgotten the wetness water causes on clothing especially reasonably expensive outdoor gear. A lot of cheaper water proof clothing has the breathability of binbag, especially when washing a big car that has been standing around.
So what is your car washing clothing tips and recommendations?

So t-shirt and daisy dukes when the suns out
shorts and flip flops on summer with a T-shirt, shorts and old boots in winter with a warm jacket of some sort.........i clean the car weekly and it tends to escalate into a good 6-8hr event every few weeks

Screw washing cars. Used to be fairly religious about it until I realised how silly it sounds washing something that gets filthy the next time it rains or gets dusty.
