If I lost my keys I'd go and ask in The Hurtwood and The King's Head, both of whom would be glad to make a note for their notice boards I'm sure.
If I found a set of keys I'd try and walk around the car park and plip the plipper until I found which car it was then leave a note on the windscreen.
Problem solved - owner has made contact.

Last time I try to combine my passtimes of wifeswapping and mountain biking though, just too much effort to get the speeds right.
